INTRODUCING THE DENNY HERR MEMORIAL DRIVER HOSPITALITY TENT

Brand new for this year’s 28th Annual Convoy, will be the Denny Herr Memorial Driver Hospitality Tent, sponsored by the Herr family. Denny was a longtime driver in the Convoy who passed away far too soon in 2015 after a battle with cancer. The Driver Hospitality Tent will be a place for our drivers to grab a seat, enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks, and enjoy some rest in the shade. Our goal this year is to continue to say THANK YOU to our drivers who sacrifice so much in order to make the Convoy the success that it is.  Don't forget to register online today!

Wish Child Spotlight: Anthony's Story

Anthony wanted to pan for gold in Alaska. Anthony’s mom pursued Make-A-Wish®, hoping to bring some joy back into a life that had become so trapped with hospitals, surgeries and medical treatments. After so much misfortune, Anthony could hardly believe the chance he was being offered when his wish- to mine for gold in Alaska- was approved. The experience was a chance for Anthony to see something other than more fear ahead of him. “It’s a chance for them to not only live, but feel alive,” Anthony’s mom Dana explains. Dana had watched Anthony slowly lose hope over the years drenched in fear, and in Alaska she could see him come alive again – and even find hope. Read Anthony’s full story HERE

ELDS Are You Ready?

It’s no secret to the trucking industry that the use of Electronic Logging devices is mandated for December 2017.  However, there are many truckers with questions like how much does it cost? What are my options? Who are the approved FMCSA carriers? The good news is that many of your questions can be answered at a resource web-site - eldfacts.com  Approved vendors can be found at omnitracs.com and keeptruckin.com.

Better to start early than get caught in the crunch this fall!

Drive safely!
